BDC Competition Team

Our team gives serious dancers the opportunity to enrich their dance education with the experience of participating in regional dance competitions and conventions. Members of our team are also committed to participating in our summer dance intensive program and community performances.

What are the benefits of competition?

Dance competitions enhance the dance experience by giving students an additional performance and growth opportunity. They are provided feedback from working professionals in the dance industry that offers insight to what dancers are doing well and also how the dancer can improve further. Students get an opportunity to meet other dancers and experience new styles of dance, choreography and performances outside of their own studio. Lastly, the competition experience provides an opportunity for dancers to grow their team building skills and helps to create lifelong friendships.

If you think your dancer would be a good fit for our competition team, please call us at 716.901.4263 to schedule an audition.
